About Stacy

I can’t imagine my life without work. I genuinely believe I was put on this earth to make a positive difference and influence people through my work. My heart is to serve. I founded Impact and Lead to empower businesses and leaders at home and around the world.

I began my career at IBM's semiconductor facility and trained engineers and maintenance teams on new software systems. From there, I spent nearly a decade working in a division of General Motors where I led a factory, designed lean systems, and managed field quality across assembly plants in Oklahoma, Texas, and Mexico. As the competitive landscape shifted, I had the opportunity to design new systems and training to help improve productivity and competitiveness. This period was instrumental in developing my ability to make quick decisions, be resilient, and navigate complex organizational dynamics. (Translated - There weren't a lot of women in these roles, and in manufacturing things go wrong a lot!)

Transitioning back to the high-tech sector, I took on pivotal roles at Motorola Semiconductor (now NXP). Here, I deepened my skills in change management, mentoring, strategic planning, communication, and customer management. Next, looking to impact more individuals and focus on my passion for teaching and training, I moved into higher education, where I could focus on skill-building in our future leaders. After leadership roles at The University of Texas at Austin and Baylor University, I sought to broaden my impact – resulting in my founding of Impact and Lead.

I've been fortunate to work with people and teams worldwide - the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Asia. I’ve even designed customized-interactive learning taking professionals to other countries to expand their thinking, knowledge, and skills.

I’ve been told I’m not afraid to ask “tough” questions and challenge assumptions. I believe these qualities can help unleash a fresh perspective and spark innovative solutions. I advise out of genuine concern, inspire possibility, and bring a calm presence to even the most stressful situations.

I've been coaching, consulting, and training for most of my career helping organizations improve and others achieve their goals. I am intellectually curious, and I naturally push against the status quo.

When I'm not working, I love to travel, read,  learn something new, and spend time with my family. I have an adorable husky, named Jaxon, who loves to talk and take long walks. I have a wonderful husband, and two talented and genuinely kind adult sons. I'm fortunate to have traveled to roughly 30 countries, and I hope to see even  more. I love talking to people when I'm traveling or sitting in a café immersing myself in a new culture.

I hope we have the chance to meet.  I would love to get to know you better.

Blessings & Love,

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
